Exams to be conducted in parental school for those students having cluster, complex centers away more than 3 KMs

Srinagar, Jun 17 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has said that the examination of Potential Learners of 8th standard shall be conducted in their own schools if the cluster or complex centers are more than 3 Kilometers away. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), JKSCER mentioned this in reference to the date sheet issued for conducting the examination of potential learners of Class 8 for the Session 2022-23. Joint Director Central for JKSCER said, “The examination of the registered potential learners shall be held at the Complex Heads or Cluster heads of the respective Districts identified by the DIETS.” In a communique, SCERT further said that the confidential material shall be set by the Complex Heads as per the pattern of papers already held during regular Middle Standard Examination, 2022-23. “The answer sheets shall be provided by the respective DIETs to the complex heads or cluster heads,” it reads. It also states that the evaluation of the answer scripts shall be held at the complex centres immediately after the culmination of examination on a daily basis. “In case of such Middle or High Schools, where cluster head or complex centers are more than 3 kms away, the examination of the potential learners shall be conducted in their own Schools,” JKSCERT said. It also said that the examination papers in all such cases shall also be provided by the Complex Heads, adding “Admit cards to the students shall be provided by the concerned DIETs.” “Complex Heads to get the Result of Potential Learners countersigned from their respective DIET Principals,” SCERT said—(KNO)
